The aim of Quality
assurance project (QA) is to ensure that the Lab
provides a service that is fit and meets quality
standards.
IT Development &Improvement Project
The aim of the new Lab
information system which was introduced by the
National Technology Company (a specialized and
licensed lab information company) at Al-Manial lab
was to upgrade the overall system of sample
documentation (pre- & post testing) to ensure that
the Lab provides a service that is fit and meets
quality standards.

Research activities:
The Research Faculty
members within the Department are nationally
recognized. The research ranges from clinical to
basic research, with an emphasis on Hematologic
Malignancies, Virology & Molecular Genetics.
Our new Research Project:
The aim of this project
is to develop a plan for the Research activities of
the Department over the coming 2-5 yrs which will
involve all the specialties of the Department. The
project will hopefully lead to the international
recognition of the Department that will in turn
participate in the International recognition of Kasr
Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine
